The Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center is a vibrant community resource offering a changing array of exhibits by local and national artists, and affordable classes and workshops taught by working artists. Past shows have included work by abstract painter Phyllis Jacobs, polymer sculptor Fran Abrams, and the fantastical watercolorist Brenda Duke Murphy. The center lies downtown, just east of Baker Park.
