If I could give less than 1 star I would. My hair was down to my waist and I asked for a trim and layers. She layered my hair all the way down to the middle of my back then I had about 3 inches of hair below that was not layered because she started too high up. I had my sister-in-law fix it for the family dinner on Easter Sunday, and now they are telling me I can not get a refund because someone else has since cut my hair. I called them on Sunday and no one answered and told them I have pictures before anyone else touched my hair. I have to wait until Saturday to talk to the owner. If it takes causing a scene w/ pictures as evidence I will be more than happy. My hair is now about 5-6 inches shorter than it was before they butchered it. Oh, and I forgot to mention, she took a big chunk out right in the middle. She put gel in it and made my hair wavy so I couldn't see what she did.

I am very dissatisfied with my experience here. I asked the stylist for very light layering around my face only and for my long length to be maintained. The stylist ended up layering all over (the only way some know how to do). The difference between my shortest and longest layer is over seven inches with tons of layering in between! I am sad to say that I will probably end up cutting it short in an attempt at damage control. Needless to say, I will never return here for another cut.

My family of 4 have been going to Amy's Hair for over 5 years. They always do a great job. We are especially thankful for the patience they have shown with our small children!

I'm very particular about my hair and stylists so if you are like that too then you may not want to frequent Amy's Hair Stylist Salon. I told the girl cutting my hair I just wanted a half of an inch cut off and she ended up cutting more like 3 inches off without my consent. I left very upset and disappointed and never went back. The salon is ok and the location is ok and maybe the other sylists are ok. But I wasn't impressed.
